Water is Love: Film & Conversation

In collaboration with Transition Marlborough (who manage Marlborough’s Community Fridge and Community Orchard) and Action for the River Kennet (ARK), we are delighted to showcase the documentary ‘Water is Love : Ripples of a Generation’, followed by three exciting short talks exploring how interaction with water and the River Kennet can help our local community respond to the climate crisis. You will be welcomed with a complimentary drink courtesy of the Ramsbury Estate, ahead of a 5pm film start. This thought-provoking one hour documentary follows a group of young people grappling with the climate crisis, while we journey around the world to share incredible stories of regenerative ecosystem design to create water retention in communities, villages, and regions. After the screening, there will be three short talks. PhD Student Erika Peklanska will present her ongoing research into Marlborough community resilience to flooding, and Action for the River Kennet and Transition Marlborough will report on the work they are doing alongside local councils to support the community and our precious chalk streams. The film will start at 5pm, with event finish at 6:30pm. You will be invited to continue discussions in our foyer. With thanks to Ramsbury Brewery and Distillery for their invaluable support with this event. *Booking fee applies when booking online. Tickets can be booked in person without incurring a fee*.PT1H30MPG2026-03-12Water is Love: Film & Conversation"Water is Love: Film & Conversation"
