‘Ignite’ is a celebration of creativity through film. Nothing excites us more than seeing films that surprise us and show us things that we have never seen before. We love the non-conforming, the extraordinary – the films that dare to do things that others won’t. We are excited to welcome independent films produced around the globe – films that showcase diverse creativity from every culture. Join us for our 2025 event where we will be showing 30 hand-picked short films across 3 nights. 'Memory' – Documentary Short – 3m 23s Synopsis: An experimental documentary reimagining the childhood recollections of a Jersey inhabitant, Margaret, through the intimate lens of the director's British South Asian background 'Sherbet' – Drama Short – 23m 1s Synopsis: Set entirely inside the confines of a taxi cab, on what seems like just another late-night fare, this particular trip is anything but, altering the course of the lives of both driver and rider forever. 'The Carrot' – Comedy Short – 15m 27s Synopsis: A man travels back to his small-town home to tell his parents about the disturbing he made in his brothers freezer. 'Fear' – Animated Short – 4m 18s Synopsis: A little bunny's fears come to life through his shadows, unfolding in to monstrous creatures that are the reflection of his instincts. '92' - Comedy Short - 22m 48s Synopsis: As creative tensions flare between singer and songwriter, the rest of the band watch the dream of their debut album start to unravel.
